 Covid-19 Update

Service Delivery Plan

We have developed a service delivery plan for operating under the COVID-19 Protection Framework (Traffic Light System). SkillWise will operate at all levels of the traffic light system, refer to the infographic below for details of what to expect at orange and red:

Feel free to contact us if you wish to see our full service delivery plan.

Vaccination Status & SkillWise Support

As per the government mandate for health & disability workers, all SkillWise staff and volunteers are fully vaccinated and have vaccine passes that can be presented on entry to your home and/or community venues.

As a health & disability service, we are unable to refuse support to people based on their vaccination status. We will work with unvaccinated people to determine the best form of support: this may include individual support and/or alternative group support.

Vaccine passes

As you will be aware, from Friday 3rd December, many organisations and businesses will require a vaccine pass for entry. SkillWise will not require the people we support to have a vaccine pass to attend our Manchester Street address. However, we run a number of off-site groups and community-based support where you may be visiting community venues where vaccine passes will be required. For this reason, please log in to 'My Covid Record' to request your 'My Vaccine Pass' in advance of the change to the Covid-19 Protection Framework on Friday. We will be asking for confirmation of a vaccine pass ready before off-site groups leave our premises.

Guidance on requesting your My Vaccine Pass is available at https://covid19.govt.nz/covid-19-vaccines/covid-19-vaccination-certificates/my-vaccine-pass/  If you are unable to access the My Covid Record website you can phone the COVID call centre on 0800 222 478 or call the COVID Vaccination Healthline on 0800 28 29 26 and pushing '2' to speak to the disability team. If you need assistance with getting your pass, please reply to this email and we will arrange for a Community Facilitator to get in touch.

We do require any visitors and contractors who come onsite to show a vaccine pass – this includes family members and support staff from other agencies. Please do not be offended if we ask for this. We welcome visitors at orange only: we do not have visitors on-site at red.

At all stages:

• Good hygiene practices apply
• Stay home if you are sick
• Report flu-like symptoms
