Description:
Working with clay, use your hands and tools to work and decorate pieces that will be glazed and fired.

You will learn:
• Learn clay moulding techniques and creative processes.  
• Explore kiln firing, tools, and textures to create finished pieces.  
• Practise safe clay handling and studio clean-up skills.

What to bring:
• Please wear clothing you can get dirty, as clay dust may get onto your clothes during the class. 
• Participants are welcome to bring their own apron if they would prefer to protect their clothing.

Other Info:
• Participants using their own transport should arrive by 10:00am and leave/be picked up at 11:30AM.
• Based at Risingholme and runs for 8 weeks within each term.
• This class will do an alternate creative activity outside of those 8 weeks.

• Wear appropriate clothing and closed shoes. 
• Long hair needs to be tied back. 
• Bring a small lunch.

• A slower-paced session for those who may have done some cooking but want to build confidence. 
• The kitchen is small and participants need to be able to move around safely.

• Recognise scams, identify risks, and learn ways to stay safe online.  
• Develop strategies for handling suspicious messages, cyberbullying, and other online challenges.  
• Learn basic functions such as taking screenshots, changing settings, and managing device features.

What to bring:
• Device you want to learn how to use more, like your phone, tablet or ipad

Play badminton at Skellerup Hall with peers, learning the rules of badminton, how to play and how to score games.

You will learn:
• Learn how to play a game of singles/ doubles badminton (with scoring).  
• Physically improve or learn how to play badminton. 
• Play competitive or social matches based on your ability/ and pace.

What to bring:
• Drink bottle.
• Healthy afternoon snack like a banana or muesli bar.

Other Info:
Courts are booked from 1:30PM until 2:30PM. These times are sharp.

• Warm clothes and a jacket if weather is cooler, sun hat and lighter clothes if it is hot - dress for the weather

Mobility is required for long walks up to 2 hours
