Personal Sustainability Plan: Craft a strategy to reduce waste and upcycle at home
Collaborative Making: Collaborate to create a community art piece from recycled materials
Outreach Skills: Partner with artists or groups to educate others about eco-friendly practices
Benefits for You
You will learn how to turn old or throw-away items into something new and useful. You will find creative ways to reuse things that might otherwise go in the rubbish. This helps you see value in everyday items. You’ll practice using your hands by cutting, gluing, and putting things together. Making art this way can be relaxing, good for the environment, and doesn’t cost much. You’ll play with colour, texture, and shape to make something beautiful. You can also share your ideas and creations with others in the group. It’s a great way to feel proud while helping to reduce waste.
