What to Expect
Build on your knowledge in money skills through hands-on projects. You’ll work on real-world examples - budget planning, money saving goals, and smart spending exercises - to boost your confidence managing money day to day.
Prerequisites
Participants should have completed the ASDAN Introduction to Money Skills Module or already be comfortable with basic cash handling and EFTPOS.

Learn how to manage your money in a way that works for you. You will set up a budget to plan what you earn and spend. You will keep track of where your money goes and look for ways to save. You will set money goals and learn how to build up savings for the future or for emergencies. You will learn how banks work, including how to use savings accounts, online banking, and pay bills. You will also understand what debt is, how interest works, and how to pay money back safely. You’ll get tips on spending wisely, knowing the real value of things, and spotting clever ads. You’ll also learn how to use phone or computer apps to help with money. Most of all, you’ll practice making smart choices with your money that suit your life.
