What to Expect

In this group, you help shape how things run! The karaoke group is led by the participants, with guidance from the facilitator. At the start of the term, you’ll help set the rules and create a welcoming space where everyone gets a turn. Whether you love singing in front of others or are just giving it a go, this group is all about confidence and fun.

What You’ll Learn

  • How to perform solo or in groups in a low-pressure, encouraging setting

  • Ways to support each other, share feedback, and manage the class

  • Enjoyment and confidence through singing songs you love in front of others

Benefits for You

In this class you will build your confidence by practising singing in front of others. You’ll help lead the sessions and work together as a team to set up and support each other. You’ll have fun learning how to use your voice, including pitch, rhythm, and breathing. Try out new songs and music styles suggested by the group. Singing can help you understand and show your feelings, and tell stories in your own way. It’s a great way to connect with others, enjoy music together, and feel happy and safe while singing out loud.
