Thank you to everyone who participated in making SkillWise Open Day 2025 happen, either by helping or visitting! We had some great displays and workshops going this year, and enjoyed getting to share a slice about what goes on in SkillWise Classes.

Upon entering, visitors were invited to purchase SkillWise dollars to donate towards the various activities happening throughout the building, and were also introduced to fantastic tasters made by the various cooking classes that run through the week. A staff member and a member of The Squad were also available to answer any questions about SkillWise, or help out in filling out our Request to Join form.

Once inside, visitors got to enjoy a small part of SkillWise classes, either by checking out the films made by The Reel Tree, or a live demo from the Model Making class. Craft, Printmaking and Jewelry Making were also on offer.

Heading outside, visitors were treated to a free sausage sizzle in the warm spring sun, complete with music from DJ Mitch and creative activities offered by SkillWise’s White Room.
