What to Expect
Dive into filmmaking by working as a team to produce a short film by the end of the semester. You’ll learn key steps to film making, from planning and scripting to filming and editing. The group also participates and enjoys movie outings twice a year.
You’ll learn how to:
Collaborate to Plan and create a short film
Develop skills in acting, filming, and storytelling
Work together in a creative, supportive environment
Understand the filmmaking process from start to finish

In this class, you will learn and develop real filmmaking skills that you can use in many areas of life. You will build confidence through trying acting in front of a camera and working behind the scenes. You will have a role within a team and work collaboratively together to create a film, giving you the opportunity of connecting with other film lovers, and learning the importance of collaboration. You will meet others who enjoy movies and telling stories, and participate in fun activities like script writing, leaning to use a camera and going to see films together. This is a chance to try something new, ;earn and develop new skills and experiences and share your ideas through film.
