About This Class
Explore Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Māori language, and culture in a welcoming group. You’ll learn waiata (songs), discover your whakapapa (ancestry), and deepen your understanding of te ao Māori (the Māori world).

Basic te reo Māori words and phrases
Stories and meanings behind Aotearoa’s place names
How to connect with your whakapapa and Māori culture through waiata and kōrero (conversation)
