What to Expect

This class is for people who want to learn the New Zealand Road Code. You will learn about the rules for walking, biking, and driving on the road. This will help you feel safer and more confident when using Christchurch’s roads and footpaths.

What You’ll Do

  • Learn about road signs, signals, and road safety

  • Understand the rules for walking, biking, and driving

  • Practise answering road code questions in fun and different ways

  • Get support to study for your learner licence test

  • Talk about real-life road situations and how to stay safe

Benefits for You

You will grow your knowledge of New Zealand’s road rules. This will help you feel more confident when crossing roads, riding a bike, or getting ready to drive. If you want to get your licence, this class will help you prepare and feel supported. You’ll also learn in a group, helping each other and sharing your ideas in a friendly and safe space.
