Community Support Team Leader - Fixed Term (Maternity Leave)
SkillWise supports people with intellectual disabilities to participate and
integrate in the community.
This is achieved through community participation support, (incorporating training
& education, leisure & recreation, volunteer work) and employment
support.
The Community Support Team Leader is a key role in assisting Community Support
Coordinators to facilitate a range of community opportunities, ensuring the
necessary assistance and support for clients to realise their goals and
aspirations.
We require a Team Leader who is energetic, committed and highly professional to
cover an eight-month period of maternity leave.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Outstanding communication, planning and organisational skills
The ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
Experience in working with adults with intellectual disability and mental health
issues in a community environment
Proven computer skills
A commitment to making a positive difference
A clean drivers licence

Community Support Co-ordinator Casual/Relief Position
SkillWise supports people with a mild to moderate intellectual disability to
participate and integrate in the community.
This is achieved through community participation support, incorporating training
and education, leisure and recreation and employment related opportunities.
As a part of this approach some opportunities are provided directly by SkillWise
and others involve supporting clients in a broad range of activities in the wider
community.
We are currently looking for casual Community Support Co-ordinators to run some of
our groups and provide one-on-one support.
This is to cover permanent staff on an as required basis.
We are looking for people who are energetic, enthusiastic and committed team
players.
Key skills and attributes for the role:
Excellent communication skills
Experience of working with adults with an intellectual disability and mental
health issues in a community environment
The ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
